So Cambridge exams are the most widely recognised English language qualifications in the world: particularly as a proof of English level for entry into many 3rd level colleges and study programmes. Wouldn’t it be great to come to Ireland next summer, take a 4-week Cambridge exam preparation course and then complete your exam in Dublin before you leave? That’s what you will be able to do at DLTC in July 2022.
For our Cambridge Summer Junior courses, the levels on offer will be Cambridge FCE (for students aged 12-17) and Cambridge CAE (for students aged 15-17). Students will have the choice of attending the courses for either 2 or 4 weeks and the option of taking the exam in Dublin will be available to those attending the course for 4 weeks.
Classes will take place Monday-Friday over 18 hours per week. When not in classes, our Summer Junior Cambridge students will be able to take part in our usual leisure, sports and tourist activities programmes for teens.
In order to take part in these Cambridge courses, students will have to successfully complete an English level test in advance and, based on that, we will be happy to advise whether taking the exam in Dublin at the end of 4 weeks will be a reasonable target for each student.
For those students who do not want or need a Cambridge English course, we will of course still have our regular Summer Junior English with Activities programmes.
